Bankers say end in sight

Bloomberg reported today that Lehman Brothers Holding Inc and Goldman Sach’s Group Inc. predict that “the worse is behind us.”  They seem to be convinced that they worse is behind us and the banking crisis should get better in the next two quarters.

JP Morgan  Chase & Co. announced a dropped in profits after a $5.1 billion in write-downs connected to “home-equity loans, financing leveraged buyouts, and sup-prime mortgages. “  Wells Fargo & Co. announced that their net income dropped 11% but remained profitable unlike Wachovia and Washington Mutual.
