Rendition forms.
The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts has adopted an
amendment to the administrative rule concerning rendition forms, effective March
10, 2008.
Tex. Tax Code Ann. § 22.24 requires taxpayers to render on a
form prescribed or approved by the Comptroller. 2007 legislation permits
property owners to affirm if the information in the property owner's most
recently filed rendition continues to be accurate, and requires that each
rendition form prescribed by the Comptroller must provide a box that the
property owner may check to affirm that the information in the most recently
filed rendition continues to be accurate. The rule is also amended to delete
reference to the telephone numbers for Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD).
( 34 Texas Administrative Code § 9.3031, eff. 03/10/2008 .)
